MEMBER’S WORKING PARTY DOCUMENT, 16th MARCH 2006

In summary the responses can be analysed as follows:-

Against the proposals
  215 Individual letters/emails
  28 Standard forms
  221 Tick box replies

For the proposals
  13 Individual letters/emails

For some proposals and against others
  26 Individual letters/emails

Not against
105 Individual letters mainly for the cricket club wish for extra land and no other views on the proposals

Total 611

In addition there are some e-mails which have presented problems in opening. The account holders have been contacted to re-send and a supplementary report will be available at the meeting with the response details.

All the email responses that were sent by the public following the DCC’s decision to accept emails were lost in a technical ‘black hole’ by the DCC.

DCC has sent out emails to the addresses it has recovered requesting they resend their emails. However they have given only 3 working days to do this. If you sent an email to elvastoncastle@derbyshire .gov.uk and you have not received a resend, please contact us as soon as possible.

A number of “late responses” have been received after the 13th February 2006 as follows:-

Against the proposals
  6 Individual letters/email (1 with 8 signatures)

For some proposals and against others
  1 Individual letters/email

Not against
17 Individual letters re cricket club wish for extra land

Total 24
